This show was alright. In the end however, it didn’t boil down to much more than a standard anime with an alien/supernatural girl appearing to a guy who already has a girl who he lies or likes him. They go though trouble and fun and in the end he of course goes with the new girls. I think it’s a bit of a shame that Ameri didn’t get a good ending. Although it was obvious from the start that she wouldn’t, I still want one anime based off a game that has endings for everyone; give an ending to someone other than the main girl. Shuffle is the only anime I can think of that did something like that, and I just want one show to do the same. Have the guy end up with Ameri but explain the whole situation with Mashiro made him realize love or made him a better person, whatever, just stop taking the easy way out.

I’ve said this several times before, but I feel I have to say it again. Nue is by far the best part about this entire series. She definitely deserves her own spin-off. I just loved her personality and character. The way she was so full of herself, always acting like a superior being, but not really doing so in a bitchy or annoying way. It was charming; I would defiantly become one of her followers.

Well it’s pretty much as the title says; Nue is obviously the best part of this series. It’s not even that she’s a loli, though that helps. I just love her personality, how she’s so full of herself but most of the time for legitimate reasons. I love how she was just calmly saying how she should get more credit, and how awesome she is. Hell, if it wasn’t for her then Dragon would never have been revealed like he was. Plus she’s a loli. Plus she has some kind of celestial energy tracking thing going on through the internet that could come in handy soon or just later. Plus she’s a loli. Plus she helped with Houou. Plus she’s a loli. PLUS she’s just all around awesome. It really is her attitude that fits perfectly with her that’s the best part. Her voice is pretty damn good for her kind of character too. She is just simply the best part of this show. Plus she’s a loli.

As for the rest of the series, plot wise, I think it’ll probably be pretty simple as to what will happen. They seem like they are going to be focusing far more on Ameri then the actual Dragon guy. They seemed to defeat him rather easily this time and he didn’t even seem like he was weakened or that he’ll be more powerful some other time. I think it’ll boil down to Ameri kind of snapping about her jealousy thing and using her innate celestial power combined with perhaps something Dragon’s influence left in her. It will all end up tying back to that even they flashed to where Ameri kind of blew off Yuuri at the opening ceremony or first day of school.

After watching the latest episode of Tayutama I felt I just had to do my inner lolicon justice by mentioning g the appearance of the new loli character. She’s definitely an interesting addition, especially near the end when she showed her real personality, being all tsuntsun and tsundere. Plus the fact she seems to be obsessed with pantsu…Maybe she should go live in the Strike Witchs’ world, it’d be heaven for her. She is definitely very cute and her mix of personality and odd choice of obsession makes her…well, let’s just say I welcome her addition.

Unfortunately I have a feeling that she is going to eventually become un-lolified like Mashiro did. From some of the scene s in the OP she definitely seemed to be more than a loli. I’m sure I’ll still like her character, as her bossy personality is very tsundere the way she then goes to being cute; she’s defiantly higher up on the tsuntsun scale I’d say. This series is pretty much what I expected it to be; in fact it’s even better. I figured it would be much more full of random ecchi moments for no reason with slapstick humor, but so far it isn’t anywhere near as mindless as I thought it was going to be. There is of course some of that still, as it is that genre however it’s not as much as I thought. Hopefully it won’t fall that way. Most people still won’t care for this series anyways, as they are stupid stuck up idiots who seem to want all anime to be an epic story worthy of awards but just seeing this anime as a fun show to entertain; I think this will fit that nicely.

I am curious as to the balance between comedy/romance development and plot. It’s a tad unusual for a show like this to reveal so soon what the overall serious point of the show is going to be, which is to capture these three bad spirits. It seems like they have the perfect set up for some classic and clichéd, but still funny and entertaining, content like Mashiro perhaps transferring to school or just dealing with her being adamant about being an actual wife. I do hope they don’t focus too much on the “plot” as shows like this don’t have very good actual story to them, so spending too much time on it is just a waste when they could be spending it just doing funny stuff with the characters and their situation.
