Key 10th Memorial Box Arrival – LOTS Of Pictures

Several days ago I received in the mail my much anticipated Key 10th Year Anniversary Memorial Box. Now, I ended up procrastinating the pictures and the post until now, but figured I should still share it. I have to say I’m very impressed with how much stuff is in here. A lot of it is simply small things, postcards, alternate DVD box covers, and so on, but there were still quite a lot, so there are a lot of pictures I have to show.

Although some may dismiss the box, I didn’t have any of the games before this. I love Key enough that I figured I should have actual copies of the game, and seeing as how it’s not like Limited Editions of games are available for me, I figured this brand new box would be a great way to get the games, and given its an anniversary memorial box and not some random packing of the games together, all the better. Anyways, I’ll show the pictures now. It did come with 25 posters which I don’t have pictures of yet, as I’m going to put them in several frames, but I’ll point out what the poster pictures are.

Here’s the box itself and a picture of how everything was arranged. I actually took this picture after I pulled out and looked at the shirt so it was slightly different when sitting in there.

A shot of the box holding all the game DVDs.

Here’s a rather cheap looking mug, but it’s still a mug and it’s got 10th Anniversary Written on it, so that makes it rare, and that makes it good!

The T-Shirt which I quite like actually, simple, yet has a nice graphic of some characters plus identifying it’s from the memorial box.

The back of the shirt.

Here’s a sheet included that has, I’m assuming, signatures from key people at Key (pun somewhat intended)

These are the boxes the rolled up posters came in. I’m mainly showing them because as I said I couldn’t’ take pictures of the posters themselves, but there are 25 of them, one for each character to have their own long vertical poster. Most of the poses and pictures on the boxes here are what they are on the larger poster.

As you saw back with box containing the games, there is a small art book. Its quite interesting, it has a couple game CGs and what I really liked some rough sketches from the game.

What I thought was really cool was they included alternate covers for the games. I’m not sure if they are actual covers previous versions had, or they are just simply other covers, but they were very nice. I’ll show them right after showing the one the games came with. So the games and then the alternate covers are these next ones.

Clannad

Planetarian

Tomoyo After

Little Busters

The games also came with some postcards which are actually very nice. The material they are on isn’t cheap; it’s very much like the material photos are on, but slightly different. Whatever, they are nice.

That’s pretty much it; in the end I’m happy with it. I thought the price wasn’t too bad considering it comes with six games. I didn’t have any of the games before this so this was a great opportunity and I love it.

  1. Vaguely amused at how all the Clannad postcards feature animalized versions of the girls.

But thanks for the picture dump! It’s very comprehensive (except for the posters, but that’s OK). Makes anticipating my Memorial Box just a little bit more difficult. :P

  2. I don’t remember the exact cost. It was several months since it was charged and I paid for it, but I think it was around 250 maybe.

The 25 posters were split between those six boxes, rolled up. They were certainly packed in there, but they didn’t come out damaged or anything so it seems like it was just the right fit. I’ll try and get a picture of the posters later when I get them all framed.

  3. I want this box even though I can´t read Japanese :( Man why does this have to be released when I´m still having such an urge to get visual novels games?

I was born in the wrong country. I should have been born in Japan so I could get all these games and be able to understand them.

Awesome box and I´m jelous of you having it. A great purchase.

  4. That’s a very slick package altogether, and the multitude of goodies while useless, warrant bragging rights anyway. I have to say the shirt’s probably my favorite. The only thing that sort of brings the boxset down is the game are the all ages versions, but it’s just a nitpick from a guy that makes a living from nitpicking. Hope you enjoy the whole set though and get your tissues ready. You know, for crying, not the other thing because there’s no hentai.
