Arawn and the Gael tribe fight against the Empire in order to leave the island.
Disclaimer: I don’t feel like pretending I don’t know what is going to happen, and writing a section without spoilers and then one with them, as I’ve played the game. This post will contain massive spoilers to the whole plot. If you don’t want to be spoiled, then don’t read on. I won’t spoil anything simply for the sake of spoiling it, no needless spoilers, but they will be there. Final warning.
Things seem to be going along rather well. There isn’t too much deviation from the game so far, though only being on the boat in the third episode does make it seem a bit slow, it does look like it may pick up soon. I’m somewhat disappointed they didn’t have a more…intimate moment shown between Arawn and Morgan but I never really expected they would.
I am a bit disappointed that they showed what kills Arawn in that one scene. In the game they simply say it was an Electrum Weapon, which is true, that killed him. That leaves plenty of possibilities on who killed him or why but here we see the Merkadis doing it which takes away a lot of the mystery behind his death. I wish they hadn’t done that. Not that the mystery is a huge part of the story, but it’s still something.
