Kuro and Keita run into a Moto that Kuro knows from her past, and his Contractee.

Impressions:
I thought this episode was quite interesting. I was surprised by them suddenly talking about Kuro’s past. So far in the series I hadn’t really actually wondered about her past. They didn’t have a lot of points aside from her motivation to kill her brother where they hinted at something happening in her past, they just didn’t’ mention it much. Still, when they did show it I found it quite interesting and definitely see her motivation now. I really liked seeing other Moto pairs. As with last episode, seeing Mikami and her partner was interesting and here we have yet another one. I do hope they show more of that. There’s just something about it, showing that Kuro and Keita aren’t the only people in their situation as far as a special powered person being tied to a more or less normal person. It also gives an opportunity to compare Keita and Kuro to other people in their situation, and surprising it keeps coming up that they are far weaker than everyone else. Kuro couldn’t do anything to Hiyou yet the other team comes in and is able to almost easily do well enough that the guy feels he needs to come back another time.

It’s funny how Hiyou just kinda walked away instead of running after the fight. Excel’s kiss on Keita was the highlight of the episode though.
The kiss scene was much better in the manwha though, since in the manwha they were alone in the bathroom, kissed mouth to mouth and Excel went blushing (if I recall it correctly).
