The group tries to uncover what the secret to the island is and why Ran is being called by its power.
Impressions:
This episode was alright. Overall I think the arc was pretty good and interesting, it wasn’t quite the problem or situation that I thought it would be, but overall it was still nothing too special and suffered form some of the same faults that the other episodes in this series have. Still, the individual story of this arc, these past two episodes, was quite interesting.
The episode did seem to get a bit too preachy at the end there. Even though this show has always had messages like be kind, don’t be evil, and so on, I felt everyone saying how you shouldn’t kill and so on was just a bit too much, especially as it was more then this series already had, which was substantial. Also, I felt that that wanna-be idol character had no real place in this episode or arc at all. Hell, she was just some random person trying to get a wish in and didn’t actually contribute to any part of this arcs story. I think they could have done without her.

This is still my favorite current show… just something about it makes me feel good watching it.
