Takumi goes shopping with Yua and gains shocking knowledge.

Impressions:
The craziness just continues with Takumi’s life that’s for sure. At this point really do wonder what truly happened in that alley. Have a hard time imagining from the start of episode 2 Rimi going around killing people with crosses. Yet from that short moment right at the start of episode 1, anything is possible I suppose. Do wonder about her place in Takumi’s life. From Daichi it seems the three of them were fairly close for quite a long time. Assuming the image isn’t a delusion or Rimi doesn’t have the power to manipulate minds and cell phone images, that picture should be accurate.
Think the photo is pretty telling if we’re assuming Takumi’s mental state is deteriorating. He looked a little uncomfortable, but certainly a lot more stable than he currently is. If he has been friends with those two then must be hard to watch him fall into this reclusive state where he barely comes to class and has given up mostly on 2-D relationships. Also if that information is accurate he has completely misplaced the identity of someone that was a friend of his for a long time. Wonder about that murder scene again. Was Rimi really there or was it a delusion? If it was what kind of guy inserts a girl like that as the culprit in his mind? I’m a bit worried as well with a delusion telling him that Rimi is a delusion….
At any rate someone had to have been the killer. Also the camera showed Takumi running away from the crime scene. So he really did see what happened there. On that note now the unstable guy will have the police looking for him. If he ends up in interrogation he will seriously snap. Don’t know how the Japanese police handle it, but can’t imagine someone as unstable as Takumi could handle it without breaking mentally.
Perhaps one of the biggest things coming out of the episode is regarding Yua. Honestly thought there was something to the girl, but didn’t have anything like this in mind. I’m pretty sure that was no delusion with her interrogation of him. What she had to say definitely had an interesting spin to put on things. The time log for his chats is really interesting if it’s all accurate. He was responding to statements that hadn’t been made yet and reacting to pictures that still had to be taken. Gives an answer of how a picture can come from the future if Takumi was suffering from his delusions again. The pictures stored on the computer where he usually is and the posts from the timestamp coming in at the time he should be in there.
Now its not like this is ironclad evidence. If Yua is able to get this kind of data then it should be within her ability to manipulate the information. Not like the time of the conversation couldn’t be changed. Still unless the conversation did occur as we saw in the first episode then Takumi was responding to messages that didn’t happen yet. Sadly with that guys mental state he’s not in much of a position to put forward convincing counter arguments. Also this encounter with Yua will only increase his paranoia and pulling away from the 3-D world. He really was starting to trust Yua and with it falling apart like this his trust in people is definitely failing. I’m also wondering about her motives with all of this. Why is she looking into this and why was only her bad in room 36 when Takumi went by? Is she just playing detective or is there something more to it?
Overall this episode was great for completely making me wonder what is going on. Rimi didn’t seem like I would have expected after episode 1 and Yua was a lot more complicated as well. Oh and it appears the police will be looking for Takumi in connection to the murder. At this rate it doesn’t seem like Takumi will last the series…
