Luke battles ligers in the forest near Engeve.

Impressions:

The story continues as Luke gets to meet the world outside of his home. Sadly for Luke and Tear they were sent much farther away than originally thought. They have landed in Malkuth territory. Considering the Malkuth kidnapped Luke once it isn’t the safest place to be. Its really a reminder how out little Luke knows about the world around him. He doesn’t even think about taking food from a stall and walking off with it. Living in luxury for all those years the concept of paying someone for his food is alien. Luckily he got off without too much trouble after that theft issue. Of course he’s not willing to apologize for the situation either which can put him in less that a bright light.

Luke really is a male tsundere to use some simple terms. He can be annoying and push things too far, but also can show kindness when you least expect it. Of course it would be too much to admit that he appreciates a compliment. Not an easy guy to be around, but clearly not so bad if you get past his front. His skills are pretty good considering he only had training with Van.

Big thing for those newly watching is Tear being Van’s sister. Now personally I’ve considered taking my sisters down, but never taking it to the level Tear has. Clearly there is something going on here that will be revealed eventually. Tear also shows off her love for cute things a lot in this episode. The cheagles really get her love in this one and its pretty entertaining to watch her. Hid it fairly well, but eventually she’ll really let it slip you have to think.

To be honest I’m so with Luke on the Mieu situation. God I wanted to toss that cheagle into a black hole the first minute he spoke. Exile is too lenient for having that voice….I mean burning down a forest. To be honest I feel for the ligers since they were just trying to survive. Mieu caused the trouble yet the ligers get killed. Can’t blame Luke for not liking the whole situation. But sadly that’s how things finished up this time around. Now that Luke and Tear have been captured by Malkuth things are really going down hill for the two of them.

Still a good episode and looking forward to what happens next episode.
