Luke deals with an assassin and begins his adventure.

Impressions:
This is the series I’d been looking forward to seeing. The OP did a great job getting you into the feel of the series with the same music from the game. There were also some familiar images from the game OP and the overall game. Reminds you what is to come and should send to those unfamiliar with the game a sense of a good adventure ahead.
Characters are as remembered and will make the attempt to not be too nostalgic when talking about the series. Luke of course is a pretty spoiled rich kid who has been locked up in his home for quite some time. Get flashes to his childhood thanks to his fiancée Natalia. Obviously Luke isn’t an easy guy to like even after taking into consideration losing his memories after being kidnapped as a child. Has fairly good skill with a sword after years of training and has a lot of hero worship for his teacher Van. Love how they represented Guy’s phobia and will be fun to see him later on in the series.
Things got pretty hectic when Tear made her appearance in the mansion. For whatever reason she has come for Van’s head and got pretty close before Luke jumped in. A hyper resonance occurring because of 7th fonons sent them both flying and got Luke’s adventure started. Her ability to disable guards and monsters with her song makes her an interesting character. Obviously questions about fonons will be answered soon though explanations about Luke’s headaches may take some more time. If Luke can be thanked for anything it is for being the naive character that needs everything explained to him. Since its an easy way to at the same time inform the viewers what is going on.
Feel for Tear after she gave up a pendent so they could ride the coach back. But as the end of the episode showed it won’t be a smooth trip back. Overall this was a great first episode from many perspectives. Did a good job introducing major characters and getting the story started. The battles were solid for the short moments they were going on and give hope for that portion of the series to be solid.
