Ran, Rui, and Midori investigate the disappearance of one of Rin’s classmate’s brother who was investigating mysterious occurrences.
Impressions:
I’m glad the series finally got back to some more dark and mysterious supernatural happenings. It still almost stuns me how drastically this series has changed randomly. One episode will be about nothing, it will be heartwarming, have a lot of laughs and showcase some good feeling friendship moments, and then the next will have someone be murdered. It changes so drastically like that, it’s weird. It seems like the brother that they are searching for, was killed in that first scene we saw. In that case it’s not just something they are investigating that is dark, but it will be a pretty damn sad and tragic moment when this girl finds out that her brother, her only family, was killed.
The actual mystery that they are trying to solve and deal with is still a bit unclear at this point. Obviously the old guy has some connection with the girl’s brother and this three eyed clan, but what exactly is unsure. It may be something as simple as him being one of the members, but the way they set thing sup made it seem like it was more complicated then that. Either way, its one of the more interesting things they’ve dealt with so I’m looking forward to find out what becomes of it.

Is interesting when they switch from peaceful friendship to dangerous situations. Does give the feeling the brother has died which is sad in itself for the sister looking for him. Hopefully they can at least get to the bottom of this and help her get some closure. At least Ran remembered she had telepathic abilities when she was getting captured. Now its up to the others to find her and settle things.
Am curious what the truth of this all is. Definitely the old guy seems to be part of the clan, but I wonder what more is going on. Guess its all about waiting for the next episode before any answers are given.
