The generals all try and destroy the egg before it goes back into enemy hands when Miranda stops her Time Record.
Impressions:
I thought this was a pretty good episode. I was really wondering how the hell they were going to deal with the egg and the fact time was going to go back to what it was, but destroying it was a pretty smart idea. It was an interesting call to go after the egg the way they did at the end, when Lulubell was holding Miranda like that. Although it’s somewhat of a cold way of thinking, to sacrifice someone to destroy the egg, that seems like it would be the right call, as the egg could mean the deaths of many more people. However finding out that Cross knew Allen was coming and pretty much did it knowing Miranda was going to be safe was kind of nice to know too, as he’s not a complete bastard or anything.
I’m really curious as to what the hell Link is up to. The other inspector told him to do some super secret mission, and I don’t trust these guys at all. He jumped though the ark and was seen walking over to a piece of the broken Akuma egg. I have no idea what he could possible be up to, and ultimately I don’t think he’s evil since he may be taking orders form someone such as the other inspector, they are still with the order.

Well it was a pretty tough call to make. If it was a random scientist or finder the choice would have honestly been easier. Cold as it might be the life of an exorcist is of higher priority than a regular person. Especially a powerful as potentially useful as Miranda’s Time Record. But in the end her life isn’t worth as much as the egg and there was no guarantee she would be alright anyways.
Generals did try to get it done while holding back enough so Miranda would be alright. But it was the right call. Was easier to do it when Cross knew Allen was about to jump in there. Give Komui credit for making the decision to destroy it rather than let it get back to the Earl. After all the casualties this attack has left they couldn’t afford to just hand it back.
It finished alright with the egg being destroyed. But that laugh and the title for next episode definitely spells out trouble.
