Mika takes Yuuto out on a date to teach him how he should behave with Haruka.

Impressions:

This episode was a lot of fun, as I really like Mika’s character, and not just because I’m a lolicon, it’s for other reasons…..IT IS! Anyways, it was fairly funny and sweet at moments seeing Mika react to Yuuto. She obviously likes him but considering the age difference and that she’s doing this to get him and her sister together, she can’t really do anything. I don’t really want to see some super drama coming from that situation, and it looks like it won’t so the degree they had it in this episode was nice. Ultimately it didn’t rally result in too much. Things have mostly remained the same, which is kind of what I feared. Although they did this whole episode to teach Yuuto how to get further in the relationship with Haruka, not only did they not show much of that but I’m guessing the future won’t really benefit from this either.

From the beginning of this show I had my fears about the relationship really moving forward due to how oblivious Haruka is. Generally when someone is oblivious like that to the normal reactions and behaviors in a relationship, it’s not helpful for romantic progress. Although she isn’t as bad as a lot of characters in other anime, the fact that she didn’t even show a little bit of worry or disappointment that Yuuto would be working with Shina and not her or something, was a bit disappointing. I just hope that in the next episodes where they focus a lot more on the two of them being together, she shows something otherwise there isn’t really any hope for good romantic progress.
