His was probably the only pairing that I was seriously concerned about. Mostly since as the series has gone on I've cared less and less about Altoh. Sheryl should stop singing since its a bad omen :). She still has the problem of being on her death bed so its not like anything drastic has changed here. Agree that they are in a bad spot. Ranka being depressed has lost them a good way to slow down the Vajra. The damage inside is extreme and they will need some luck to find a planet they can stop at and do major overhaul for repairs.
