Midori discovers the truth behind the incidents at Hayate Village and she and Ran try and stop the person behind it all.

Impressions:

Wow, this episode really surprised me. I didn’t think they would’ve brought back the teacher for a long time. I expected her only near the very end of the series. It was interesting though because it was such a twist like that. Plus the episode had several other great things to it. Ran seemed to show a huge amount of power near the end there, seemingly bringing Midori back to life, or at least healing her completely from near death. Plus the giant gust of wind. Now, some of her power may have been from the grass, but it still shows great potential on her part.

I don’t really think that they will continue to bring back the teacher. I was really surprised they did it here, but I don’t think every future mystery they try and solve will involve her. Of course I think they’ll end up bringing her back near the end or something, as she’s still a character they have to wrap up, but as far as continually being at the root of all the problems, I doubt it. It would disappoint me actually to find out that she would continually be at the cause of things, because then there wouldn’t ever actually be any mystery behind these strange events they investigate, it would always just be one person behind it. However this isn’t to say I dislike her character, as I think it has a lot of potential, so I do really hope they conclude her character well later on in the series.
