Though I wasn't as hooked into the second season before I found out so shouldn't be the entire reason. But have tried to give it a chance and since I followed the first two seasons can't really quit on it now. Though find it odd how his runes would vanish now. I mean if its connected to his heart stopping or something wouldn't they have vanished before he even made it back to Louise? Would think the magic is good enough to not just fade over that much time. Still gets us into an interesting situation with him not being officially tied to Louise. Though of course he'll be with her eventually. Not sure if they will ever tone down the abuse on Saito. But guess he's in love enough that things like that while not fun aren't enough for him to do something. I thought it would at least subside when Saito wasn't actually Louise's familiar, but no. She makes him run after the carriage when they're going god knows how far.
