Allen and the others are saved from the new Tykki’s attack when Cross appears to save them.
Impressions:
This episode is great. I didn’t expect for Cross to play such a huge role. I thought he would just appear at the end of the episode mysteriously and that’s it. After all, in the past when they’ve shown someone arriving in the preview, they would appear at the very end of the episode for thirty seconds, but he was in most of it. It was interesting for him not to be surprised at Allen’s transformation. He seemed to know Allen had that form and that he had just finally unlocked it. He was rather kickass.
The next episode seems like it continues the string of exciting episodes. It seems like Cross assigns some mission to Allen from the description, and he’s shown going up against the Earl. Although he had a short bout with him before, this I the first time when they both have pretty identical weapons, so it’ll be interesting to see the Earl’s response to the sword. Plus, it’s not just the next episode I’m looking forward to, but just finding out what the hell is going to happen regarding Kanda and Krory, plus Chaoji and Lavi now seem to be in trouble. Plus from the preview of the next episode it seems like Allen comes face to face with that weird guy in the OP, which my big guess is that it’s either Mana, the performer Noah, or both (meaning Mana was a Noah)

I’m really looking forward to the next episode because one of my favorite moments in the manga comes after that. I love how both the anime and manga are getting good at the moment - the manga is reaching some sort of turning point…but since you seem to be an anime-only follower of this series and for the sake of others, I won’t spoil anything.
I was initially dreading the Noah’s Ark arc because it was a bit of a drag to read through it all (don’t get me wrong, I liked all the separate battles and such, but I was just impatient for Cross to finally come into the picture since I wanted to learn his role in the series…) but these episodes have really done a great job fleshing everything out.

Episode was awesome corss kick ass as a general would well manga and anime comeing along quite well and as yoruko siad since u are a anime only follower aint want to spoil anything
Cross really is just someone who can come in and take over a scene. Doubt that he’d be surprised no matter what Allen had accomplished. Since I have a feeling he had been using the groups mission in the Ark for his own purposes. So the Earl was expecting JasDevi to take down that? Good luck guys.
Geeze the death count keeps climbing with Lavi falling to his apparent death. Doesn’t even get a good scene like Kanda and Krory though he did almost take himself out against Road so maybe that counts.
