Kotoko hears of a marriage interview Irie has and goes to spy on it to see what’s going on.

Impressions:
This episode was pretty surprising. I didn’t think Irie would be so serious about this marriage interview. I kind of guessed that he would just go along with it if he had too, but I never would have guessed he was considering it seriously for the sake of his father’s health. It certainly does make things a more present danger. I’m guessing this season will be concluded with the resolution to Chris and Irie’s father, as well as the issue with Kin proposing. It certainly is a lot, and it is a fairly interesting situation. I don’t think we will get much more closure from that, especially with this anime. Seeing as how the manga spans so much longer it does seem somewhat useless to only see that much, but I do hope they at least conclude it with something.
I do have to say that for the most part I’ve kind of given up on this show, after hearing that the mangaka died before finishing it. Shows like this have promise because the manga ends u going for a long time and it makes the relationships long and complex and interesting. However if they died before finishing it then there isn’t really any hope on any of that complex and interesting stuff being concluded, and if it can’t be concluded, there isn’t much of a point in seeing it. I’ll till continue to watch this series, but that news has definitely affected my views on even the anime.
According to recent reports, the TV series will have a definite conclusion based on the mangaka’s unpublished notes.
Well I’m guessing Irie feels a lot of guilt for what happened to his father. How his unilateral decision added onto the stress his father has with running his company. Its not Irie’s fault that he wants to pursue his own dreams for once. But after such a short time is really considering giving them up. The marriage interview thing on top of it all really makes it complicated. I’m sure it will be resolved somehow though.
I wouldn’t worry about the ending. Since not only the notes, but did hear that the author told her husband how she was planning on ending the story. So they will be able to give a conclusion as close to what the author envisioned as possible. Of course always a chance she would have adjusted things slightly as she got closer to actually finishing it, but this will be fine. I didn’t even know about the manga this was based on until the anime aired and I’m still happy to see it getting a conclusion.
