Allen faces off against Tykki and Lavi is trapped in a dream by Road.

Impressions:

This episode was pretty good. It was mostly what I expected it to be. Even though there was a pretty interesting fight and some good action sequences, it didn’t actually amount to much in the end. I’m guessing we’ll see that for next episode too. The fights will continue on without any real progress. Even though it won’t be getting anywhere, it’s at least better then some other stuff it could be like complete fluff or some of the earlier Jasdevi episodes before the good fight. I just hope that it doesn’t drag on too long before we see some serious results form the fighting.

I did find it interesting that Lavi was theorizing on stuff about the Heart. Although Allen doesn’t have it, sine his Innocence was shown and destroyed and it didn’t destroy all others, I’m still not sure he’s completely unrelated to the heart. Although it would seem Lenalee has it, seeing as how Lavi placed a big emphasis on the fact that both of them had their Innocence save them without doing anything, it seems to be a big deal. Maybe the two of them together have the heart or something.

Road really is a lot more powerful and interesting then I thought. She still remains probably the most important and mysterious of all of them. Lavi said she was the oldest, which makes sense because you keep the body you had when first becoming a Noah, so her appearance doesn’t matter. She was shown in the scene when Skinn was first becoming a Noah so she was there for that, and seemed fairly knowledgeable about it. Her power is a mystery too. She seems like she could just kill everyone without even trying if she wasn’t so playful. She made Lavi go into that trance and if she wanted could walk up and just cut his head off or something.
