Kotoko asks Naoki to help tutor her and most of Class F so they can get good enough scores to get into college.

Impressions:

This episode was alright. There isn’t anything really big in it and I’m suspecting that we won’t see much of a drastic change in the way this show is going for a long time. They’ve just been slowly progressing but not really changing anything overall. Naoki is still pretty much a jerk and shows some small moment of kindness here and there but still teases her often which is often mistook for just flat out kindness. While it may be as described, it hasn’t really gotten that boring, its still pretty interesting I just wish they would shift the focus a bit more serious with some more drama, or thing will end up getting stale like this.

It was interesting to see some of Naoki’s problems such as what he’s going to do with his future. Having him show problems like that is a bit step up for the show because it makes him a lot more then just some extremely mean and rude guy. The problem is I don’t think they are going to dwell or make that big of a deal out of it so a lot of the progress that this brings is somewhat wasted. Still, more moments like showing what Naoki is worried about and in regards to his future is always good.
