Damn this really was an incredible episode. I was dumbstruck for a while after seeing it the first time myself. The music they had at the end and then the ED really went well with this. If this is the end of Kanda they made it an incredible farewell. At least they wanted to hit it home. With the flashbacks concerning Kanda with the others, the image of the lotus petals falling to the ground, snow falling from the sky. Showing bits like Miranda saying someone's time is gone. Such a lonely way for Kanda to go down.

Seems like there is something Kanda has to do. Something so important he couldn't die yet, he wouldn't allow himself to die, yet he fell here. To die killing off Skin of all people. Tyki would be a massive opponent, Skin was just a lightning idiot. Of course no one else could have fought him and survived. Even Allen would have been fried before he could do enough damage.

Kanda really fought with courage and determination that was just amazing. Even when Mugen got shattered into bits he pulled it together and finished the battle. Can just see the tears on Tiedol's face if Kanda truly is gone.

On some levels it doesn't seem like Kanda can survive this. The room he was in collapsed. The lotus is gone as well. There just doesn't seem like a way out of that situation. But some things seem to point to him living. Was he just smiling because he's so badass that dying in that situation would make him do it? Doesn't seem like the type to break promises like the one made to Lenalee. Also Mugen, what I heard it translates to 6 illusions. We've only seen 3 so far. Would it really make sense for him to die before showing the other 3?

On a slight mention for Skin. Seeing the genetic hate passing through was something. Noah's started as normal people but the genetic memory eventually came through changing them. Does put an interesting look at what has happened in the past and what each side are fighting for now.

Going to be some bloody battles coming up. Do wonder how Crowley will do. If the guys have thin skin he can actually do something. He's pretty limited battle wise. When the enemy is too tough armour wise he is useless, when they aren't he can do some good damage. Also really just extreme close range or bust for him. Oh well interesting times ahead. The Noah's know what happened to Skin and won't be happy. Question is do they say anything about Kanda?

Well if Kanda is alive I'll be fine with it long as its not a stupid excuse. If not, farewell Kanda.
