Hayate and Nagi take place in the extremely bizarre actions of the Movie Research Club, whose members include the Student Council Trio.

Impressions:
This episode was alright, but for the most part it just seemed incredibly useless. While this series doesn’t have a big serious focus or anything it still felt like this episode was filled with even more useless and boring stuff. It just didn’t interest me that much. There were some really funny parts though, flashing back to several of the moments where Hayate was a trap or doing things to get Nagi mad at him was good, but beyond that there wasn’t too much in this episode.
I’m curious as to what the future holds for this series. I’m guessing it won’t be more then a 52 or so episode series, so it’s coming pretty lose to an end. I’m wondering if they will have some kind of big climax episode. Of course it won’t conclude anything, not that there is really anything to conclude, but the other milestone episodes marking the seasons seemed to have some more interesting episodes, and they did have that weird “preview to final episode” a while back, so maybe that topic will be dealt with. Regardless, the next episode seems like it will be a lot of fun and its very possible they drag it out to cover the rest of the series, in which case it won’t be that bad. Nagi and “the hamster” working together should be interesting. That and I just get the feel from the topic of a kind of competition and quiz like that that they will come up with some really good content and hopefully a lot of parody humor.
