Allen and several of the other exorcists go though the portal after Lenalee and find themselves in the ark and must find a way out before its destruction kills them.

Impressions:

First, I have to talk about the new OP. The D. Gray-Man OPs tend to give huge teasers about things to come, so I’ll just point out some of the things I think are the biggest and what they could mean. They show some kind of glowing broach cage thing when they showed Allen running as a kid and then him as he is now. Its gold like innocence, but Allen doesn’t have the heart, so what could it mean? Does it have something to do with the Performer thing? Kanda gets these weird sword wings that he jumps up and slashes people with, I doubt there is any importance there but it is cool. They show some incredibly creepy Nazi like guys. They look like they are probably part of the Order and probably really high up. They probably do something no one else likes because they believe it will help, and don’t care who it hurts. Perhaps locking Lenalee away because they think she’s the heart. They show Cross fighting. He’s got some butterfly face woman next to him, floating with him, while he shoots a gun. We see the other two Generals we’ve only seen once do something. One has a weird monkey that goes all crazy and the other seems to spin some blade. There is some weird guy; he has black skin like the other Noahs, so he may be one that we haven’t seen yet or something totally new. We see someone in a field with skeletons and under a big hourglass, looks to have dark skin as well but I don’t recognize the hair style, because Tykki doesn’t have a pony-tail but his hair seems to be getting longer so it might be him. Crowley seems to go one on one with what I think is the two Noah’s with guns combined into one. One of the useless finders seems to have gotten Innocence, perhaps he’s the one Tiedol said they were looking for since they had some and were looking for a user. Lenalee looks desperate while Komui looks sad and useless, perhaps again because she is locked up by those even higher ups that look like Nazis. Allen is holding a big sword with his non-messed up hand and his crown/mask thing actually goes over his eyes and doesn’t just hang from his back. Now, those aren’t all the scenes, but most of them which I think have importance behind them.

As for the actual episode itself, I wasn’t too impressed. It seems like not much of anything really happened except they got a little bit into Kanda’s fight and the others just walked though the door.

The next episode seems like it will be more or less the same as this one, mainly focusing on Kanda’s fight with Skinn and then perhaps having one of the other Noahs show up to face the big group of exorcists, perhaps Crowley will fight the blond haired one or the blond haired one mixed with the other guy like he seems to in the OP. However I’m more interested in Kanda not because of the actual fight but because it seems like it will reveal more about him. Not even referring to his loner side, he’s a pretty mysterious character as he seems to have some weird Beauty and the Beast flower in his room from long ago that seemed to have a big impact on dreams or something. Now from the preview he has some tattoo’s and something about taboos, so it looks like even more will be revealed. Well…..actually no, I bet more things will be announced to make him even more mysterious, but it will still be interesting
