Allen and several of the other exorcists go though the portal after Lenalee and find themselves in the ark and must find a way out before its destruction kills them.
Impressions:
This episode was alright, but overall I wasn’t too impressed with it. It seems like they are just trying to quickly get though this situation after they spent a lot time developing this interesting part of the story. It seems like this would be a big deal, going into the ark, having it be destroyed and then having the Noahs, their enemy, mysteriously help them. That situation seems like it would be a big deal but I just wasn’t that impressed with this episode. It seems like the next episode will be interesting with the fight against Skinn, but for some reason I’m guessing it won’t actually end up being that exciting and they will drag things out a bit. They need to step things up a bit as there are some big expectations due to recent events. Hopefully it does turn out to be interesting. They just need to continue the high level of quality throughout getting out of this situation. They spent some good time getting in, and now they need to continue this.
I am quite curious as to why Tykki would give them the key. They didn’t really do a good job of explaining that. Hell, they even questioned it but it wasn’t quite answered. It seems like the Noah’s may be doing some of this independently. Although when they used the door they get confronted by Skinn, I doubt it was a trap because if they weren’t given the key then they would have died anyways, so there was no reason to give them to he key to get them to fight Skinn. Tykki did say that it was Road who wanted them to have the key, so I’m curious to that as well. Road does have a bit of history with Allen, seeing as how there was a confrontation way earlier in the series. Still, I don’t’ know why they did that. It seems like Tykki and Road are doing this separately from the others, at least separately from Skinn it seems. Anyways, I really hope they explain this otherwise it just seems like an extremely odd way to explain how they get though everything.

Have a gut feeling this is some sort of entertainment for Road. Way back in the series she just self-destructed an akuma just to see Allen’s response. Some sort of game to see if they can find their way out. Guess picking the wrong door leads to Noah’s like Skin that will try and kill them. Don’t think this is the Earl’s plan. If they wanted them to die in a boring fashion it would involve just leaving them there.
Really was a dirty trap by the earl. First he gets Lenalee out of the way and if she has the heart all the better. But knew in the process he could get others as well. Managed to snag Allen, Kanda, Lavi, and Krowley. Does a nice job lowering hte enemy strength. Plus now unleashing that many giant akuma on Tiedol, Marie, and Panda. If it all works out can get rid of all the innocence that Tiedol carries, a dangerous enemy like Allen, and Lenalee who may have the heart.
Should be a fine fight next week, Kanda is good for those.
