Episode of the Week:
Clannad – 22
This kind of seems like a no brainer. Pretty much every episode of Clannad that ended a girl’s arc won the episode of the week award, except when they combined them. But having this episode as not only the finale to an individual girl’s arc but to the main girl’s arc and the finale not just to her but the entire focus of the show was great. It’s hard for any episode to match up to a shows finale, especially one with the kind of focus Clannad has.
This episode really was great despite whether or not they have an After Story OVA or whatever the conclusion this episode brought was great. I was so involved in its episode that I was completely on edge. I was freaking out, getting so anxious at the tiniest of things, it really just drew me in and as I said this wasn’t just a conclusion to an individual girl he concluded the story of Tomoya in a way and just the entire focus on family. This was not only a great episode but it helped as a conclusion to the entire series.

Maybe just a light hearted thing. Poor Shana misses the hat trick of EOTW awards.
Still this was an episode that was worthy of it.
Except this is not a conclusion to this series, but it’s a new beginning……
Now bring out that After Story, Kyoani =)
I really like how they ended the episode with Tomoya confessing to Nagisa. The only thing I have a problem is with the no kissing at the confession scene. I hope KyoAni does the after story and use the good ending.
