Oh, on the note that Hamaji is a guy, she's not. It's her brother (sister to everyone else). I believe it was due to his (Hamaji's bro) femine appearence that he decided to take advantage of it. Of course I could be wrong and my dellusions of reality are starting to fall apart. I believe the whole Hamaji being a girl or guy can be resolved by re-watching episode 4, if I am wrong, please correct me. Hamaji and her/his brother/sister look too simliar.

To touch back to the episode: Otoha did give him back his eye sight, but when the magic disappear, so does the evidence that it ever existed. However, it left Hirose with the memories. Otoha may have did that intentionally so that Hirose will find some way to permanently return his eye sight. Given that his temperary eye sight let him gain friends and a few other things.

Hirose is one crazy fruit loop. Few eggs short of a full dozen.

Some things feel odd about this. How the heck did he know Hamaji was a guy? That was a visual discovery. Sound/Smell/etc aren't going to tell you that Hamaji has a flat chest. I'm not sure if they've left other plot holes that make it weird that he couldn't see the whole time. Oh well they did pull a pretty crazy thing. Some things make sense if you call that he couldn't see the whole time.

Guy really crept me the heck out near the end. I mean he is the last person I want anywhere near a gun. Impressive that he managed to find them and grab the gun. Plus a return of Otoha. If he really wants to see has to accept what has happened and move forward. Can't keep chasing death. She's done all she can I think. Given him the feeling of sight again. Also though telling him what he needs to overcome if he really wants to see again.

Anyways should be interesting to see how things finish up. Series can't completely undo some of the complaints. Like the Hotaru situation and how easily they accept that. Or how a village finds nothing odd about how a blind guy one day is walking around with a stick and the next day he's going around acting like he can see. Maybe they don't want to be rude, but still feels a bit off.

Hope it finds some way to end well here. First thing is Hirose getting sane again and then let's move forward from there.

Well, it's offical, Hirose's finally snapped. Now he thinks Hayami is his mom and he's blind again. I wonder if Otoha would help him again? I hope the next one is the last episode, I can't stand all the suspence.

Damn… That episode just “ripped my heart to bits” watching Takuma go all delusional. I got a bad feeling that he’s going to revenge his mum though as he was like “I’ll be the one to protect.. MY MUM!!” and then it looks as if he’s going to snatch the rifle. =/ Hopefully it won’t end up like that but the same feeling tells me that he tries to shoot Hayami but Hotaru will come in and take the shot and then Takuma gains his vision again and then realises what he’s done and lives with Hayami or something like that. Let’s just hope it really is a happy ending though and not a bloody one like above or anything worse as I’m a sucker for happy endings.
