Impressions:
This episode was pretty good. It wasn’t anything really outstanding though. As I suspected the show will likely die down a bit in terms of really interesting stuff until the end of the season. Still, this wasn’t a bad episode by any means. I was actually a bit surprised with how much I liked it since Yukiji isn’t really my favorite character by any means. Still, it was a pretty good episode. They tried to put some character development and serious parts in with Hina and her past with her sister but it wasn’t anything really big and it didn’t add much. All in all it was a pretty good episode but nothing spectacular. As always the breaking of the fourth wall in this series is great. I loved the narrator yelling that one of the three idiots didn’t have the right to change the name of the show and pointing out the fault that you wouldn’t find dandelions in the winter. Aside from that though there wasn’t anything else too big.
I was pretty impressed by the Maria bit. Although it kind of seemed like it was thrown in there because the main story with Yukiji didn’t fill up the time, it’s nice nonetheless to see Maria. Seeing her kick ass like that though was certainly a bonus compared to just seeing her act like she always does. I’m a bit curious about Nishizawa’s reaction to Maria. The narrator said that she wanted to be like Maria but I’m wondering if there will actually be any content that focuses on that in future episodes or not. Even if it doesn’t amount to anything, it was a fun time filler.
