Hayate goes to the superintendent to become her butler in order to save Nagi’s family estate.

Impressions:

I thought this episode was great. It was a lot better then some of the recent episodes. Although the show had a burst of really interesting episodes with the appearance of Himegami, before that it seemed like the show was dwindling a bit but this episode gave me new hope because it was great. It was just weird enough to not be too weird it’s distracting but remain funny. It was for the most part two separate stories, seeing the sunrise and turning on the power, but it seemed to work. I have to mention in particular the one line I absolutely loved which was, “The Earth must be becoming tsundere” I thought that was hilarious. The episode had some other really great small bursts of comedy which really did seem to make this episode better then some of the recent dull ones.

I’m not too sure what the future will hold for this show, as for the most part it’s entirely co medical yet still seems to have some sudden important events. I anticipate that it will just be a bunch of normal episodes, stand alone episodes, that have been like the previous episodes until the very end where they will do something weird like they did with Himegami recently. He could return as being part of the focus, but I really don’t think they will spend too much time building up t the conclusion. They did say that the fourth season will have things that fans of the manga will be glad to see, seeing as how I haven’t read past the first two volumes I’m not sure what that would entail, but hopefully it’s a good sign.

I did notice that this episode seemed to have a slightly new OP. It of course had a new ED but the OP was the same song and the same scenes for the most part, but they did have some changes from what I remember (I didn’t’ watch it every episode) such as showing Himegami instead of a shadow and actually showing his face when he was in the tree.
