Wow… overall all I can say is that this show was….horrible. I’ll admit that when it comes to judging anime I’m an EXTREMELY lenient on what I’ll consider good. Half the time I’ll say the show doesn’t have to be good as long as its fun to watch. I’m not rating this show as bad because of any of the ecchiness to it or anything like that but just looking at the show overall I have to say that it was just not that good.

I was rather intrigued by the world that the show had established. I’m not familiar with the game that the anime is based off of but I did find a lot of the different countries, and wars, and even this series magic interesting. The action was kind of cool to see, I tried to give this show a chance even though I probably shouldn’t have but it just did not make it. I was so frustrated with this show several times with the way it handled things. Not even mentioning for a moment that there were some incredibly ridiculous scenes and arcs such as this “Hell Sister” bit but just the pacing and character development was horrible. Several times it seemed like a character was developing and then they would all of a sudden do something and go in the complete opposite direction. Character relationships and personalities fluctuated so much it was ridiculous. Tsundere is good and all but characters like Preicia weren’t tsundere as much as they were horribly portrayed personalities. Instead of cute and outgoing as tsundere halves she was like bitchy and bitchier. I also love romance in a show but the way this show handled it just, GAH, it made me so frustrated.

Overall this show was just…bad…and it’s extremely rare for me to say that. The characters were developed horribly, the plot pacing was awful (they developed and finished the final fight in half an episode), and the actual content many times because just ridiculous to watch.
