The Macross Colony is suddenly attacked by an unknown enemy.
Impressions:
I do first want to state for those that don’t know, although I doubt you don’t seeing as how I’m no where near the first to post on this, that future episodes of this series won’t air until the spring season, this episode was kind of like a teaser. I haven’t seen any of the Macross series before this but I didn’t’ find anything that really seemed like I needed to. In other words, even though I haven’t seen any other Macross installments I still go extremely drawn into this series. It seems cruel after watching this episode that I won’t get to see any more until the spring season. I wouldn’t be as bad if I had just waited, but now I know what I’m missing.
I thought this episode was great. Like I said I haven’t seen any of the other Macross installments so I’m not familiar with the universe and setting but this episode really drew me in. Although, that could be because I’m not familiar with things, having seen other installments may introduce you to the world which would mean this episode has less appeal, but either way this episode definitely made me interested in seeing the rest of this series. I don’t watch too many shows with this kind of setting or genre so I don’t have as much to compare this to but after watching this I’m not really sure why I haven’t seen too many shows that have the same kind of setting. I really enjoyed seeing this so hopefully this will spark me to see more. If anyone has any recommendations go ahead and tell me :D
Overall this was a great episode. It’s a bit of a shame that there won’t be more for a long time because this really did catch my attention. It looks like it will be a great series. It’s already shown that it’s not afraid to show some rather serious things such as people getting squished to death. The one thing I want in every anime is romance so I am interested to see if anything develops in this show, who knows maybe Michael and Lanka will get together. Still, this episode was very interesting. It drew me into the universe and the setting and has defiantly left me wanting more.

This was a pretty interesting episode that’s for sure. Honestly hadn’t heard much about what has come before this so maybe for that reason it was pretty fresh for me. They really did pull some serious stuff right off the bat. But should be pretty interesting so will be looking forward to when they continue on.
Never know what can happen on the relationship from. Alto and Lanka may have something later on. She’s already seen him with

So anyways after having a nice chat and walking to the show never know what might happen there. Did a nice job coming to her rescue so not like something can’t happen. Though first he’ll need to survive a pretty dangerous fight. He’ll probably be alright but I’d still like to see what happens next.
you should try the original macross since it has romance and this episode reminded me a lot about that series
