It’s the school swimming tournament and Kouichi is asked to scout for girls to be in their club’s movie.

Impressions:

Bah, I knew they wouldn’t actually kiss in this episode, even though it seemed like that in the preview. This episode was alright, really for the most part nothing big really happened and it almost seems like the show for the most part has reached a kind of lull that it will be in. It’s a bit of a shame jus because shoujo anime like this have the potential to have A LOT of drama all throughout but from this episode it seems like thing s will be everyday lie for the most part for a while. Not that that means the episodes will be completely useless and boring; I think there will be a slow and steady development for the characters and the relationships, just nothing tremendously big. I would love it if I was wrong, as the show already has the makings for some great drama. If they would keep a steady flow of really big things it would work out well for the show, still I think it may be a couple of episodes before they get into anything too big.

The next episode seems to follow what I was saying before; the preview didn’t really give hint to anything big happening. The only thing that seems interesting is that Kouichi seems to talk to Kai. Again as I said I think the episodes to come will have some development, like this moment they advertised more or less in the preview but beyond that there probably won’t be too much, which is a shame.

I still think Futami is one of the more interesting characters. Really without even regarding her part in any relationships or romance she is still interesting just because of her very logical and statistical view of life. That alone is just interesting to see. I do hope that she gets some character development in that sense if nothing else, as that’s more interesting to me now then the romance part she may play for Kazuki.
