The censorship in this series has finally got to me. I thought I would be able to tolerate it a bit; at least enough to watch the show normally but there were just too many instances in this episode that the entire flow of things was interrupted because of the damn censoring. I’m not mad really because I can’t see those scenes; I’m not watching this because it’s a sneeze away from being loli hentai or anything. I’m just mad because even with those aspects not being taken into consideration it still bothers me.
I do realize that there is a good side to the censoring, the content is still more or les there so when time comes for a DVD release then there will likely be the same scenes just without anything being covered up.
I have decided to put this show on hold until the non censored episodes, hoping they do in fact com out, are releases. Again not because I want to see the stuff but because the idea of the censoring pisses me off and it disputes the flow of the show.
Understand how you feel. The censoring can just be overly annoying. Better to just wait for the DVD which should be cleared up from the big block they put on the screen.
I totally agree. However, I have more of an issue with the way it’s censored. What’s wrong with the good old mosaic censorship method? replacing the whole or half the screen with that weird image you have included in your post makes no sense whatsoever.
Yes, and the other issue is that the censorship MAKES NO SENSE. Take the latest episode, they completely censored a sex scene between TWO ADULTS (actually, there probably wasn’t any penetration and all you could probably see was some buttcrack, if we go by the manga). That just killed the flow of an otherwise heartwrenching episode. Also in that episode, they’ve managed to show Rin in the baby doll that they’ve censored in an earlier episode (and in that earlier episode, they’ve censored Mimi saying that her bra costs only 1500 (?) yen, what the hell is wrong with that?) will they make up their fuggin minds???!!
It cant be help, that’s how japanese policy are.
