Shana and Yoshida try and confront their emotions about Yuji’s involvement in helping out Konoe.
This episode was ok, I was a bit surprised at how long and just how much they have been focusing on these conflicting emotions, the whole love square thing going on. Really this episode didn’t have much of anything going on. It just had pretty much more of what the last episode was, pretty much exactly. It’s rather interesting though, they’ve done a great job of making it interesting and I really really feel sorry for Shana. However, it seems like they should escalade things a bit more otherwise it seems like it’s just rather boring. It’s not boring that they are focusing on Shana’s emotions, in fact I love it. I think the focus o romance this season is great, however it just seems like this episode was just like the last.
I did really like the focus they put on Wilhelm. She never really was a character that they progressed…at all. Even though she did play a rather important role in the first season and was featured a lot, plus has been featured a lot in this season as well, she remained rather untouched in terms of character development, and I didn’t really ever seem to have that big of a problem with it. I mean, it’s always good to get character development but although Wilhelm had a bit of a lack of it, it was still an enjoyable show and her character was fine. However now that they are actually getting into the development a bit I realize that it was a bit of a shame that they didn’t have any of this before. She really comes out in this episode as being a very kind and sweet person, although she may be tough she loves Shana and cares about her, it was very sweet seeing her care about Shana in this episode and kind of opened up a bit for her character. I just hope they expand on it a bit more. Obviously it won’t be a top priority, but this episode did show that her development is interesting.
