Renji tries to figure out what he can do to help Chihiro upon learning of her condition while Miya tries to get closer to Hirono.

Impressions:
This show continues to be great. Although this episode didn’t seem to have as much of an impact on me as the last episode, it was still really interesting. They spent a good amount of time still on Chihiro which is easily expected as she’s really the only one of the characters that they’ve given any kind of development to that puts her in an interesting situation. It really has me wondering about the other girls and just all the other characters. Chihiro seems to be the only character with something going on; right now the story about her and Renji is the only interesting one. However the other girls seem like they are featured too much to be side characters. The way this show is set up it’s as if there are multiple main characters and focuses. Even so all the other focuses aren’t interesting. Not at all to the degree that Chihiro is. I’m really wondering if anyone else is gong to get a revelation like a terminal illness or something. I think it’ll be much more interesting if say Miya had a condition that was interesting, otherwise the scenes with her see insignificant compared to Chihiro.
I’m rather confused about the nun girl that keeps showing up. I forget her name but I think they said it already…I’m too lazy to actually look it up so I’ll just call her nun girl. She seems to more or less magically appear which by itself is surprising and intriguing as I didn’t really picture this show as having that much supernatural aspects to it. I thought it was going to be a normal tragedy but just the nun girls seemingly magical appearance may point to something more supernatural going on. Hell, as I said above the other character shave yet to reveal something that serious about them. Perhaps when they do it will be a matter of who gets healed or cured or something magically. Then again it could still not be. The nun girl could be some metaphor or imaginary symbol for….something. The show is really quite amazing in that there are many aspects that are mysterious about it yet not necessarily confusing. It seems as if it could go either way but right now the nun is the only hint of that happening. Still, something that has me thinking as it does add whole new levels of possibilities.
It seems if the ED from the last episode is the OP and vice versa. The first three episodes have all had differences in the ED and OP but still featuring the same song. It doesn’t really matter but it does look like this is how it will be for the remainder of the series. I’m really actually pointing out this very obvious fact to reiterate again how much I absolutely love the song that was this episodes OP. Although it has some Engrish in it I think it just fits so perfectly with the theme of the show and can’t stop listening to it. I don’t actually have a real copy though so I have to open up the video and go back to the start of the op again and again to listen, but that just shows how much I’ll go though for this song.
