Two guys each meet different girls mysteriously, not knowing quite how they are connected between these encounters.

Impressions:

Wow…that was not at all what I expected it to be. My god, I was just trying to keep up with all that was happening throughout this episode. It was really weird. I had expected this show to be mostly comedy and have some harem like theme to it with a premise of a guy meeting a girl, but I’m still not sure exactly what happened. Its far far more then that. It’s as if there are three separate stories that are separate and different, with different characters and focuses, yet they are connected also. From my understanding there is the story about Hirono and Miya then Asou and Chihiro, then perhaps the one guy with a camera and the person who seems to be both Hirono and Chihiro’s sister, although he seems to already be with someone. Plus, not to mention the strange and not explained appearance of that one girl in the church. Really, this is the most confused I’ve been about a series from the first episode in a long time. Its not as if it’s confusing in there are weird things happening, but the way they are having multiple stories is just something I didn’t expect and will really make this interesting.

As I said, the stories do seem to be connected just by the fact that it seems Hiro, Chihiro, and the other pink haired girl who was in the room with the blond haired girl are siblings. However I’m really interested in if the stories will be any more connected then that. Just because they are related doesn’t really bring them together, and either way it could be really interesting. They could either have three completely different stories, which would pretty much be almost like three show sin one, or they could have three stories but connect them. Really, I hope they cross some characters over, because it sill still be multiple stories and connecting that many when things are this complicated could be very interesting, and not too many shows have done things quite like this.

I was also very impressed by the animation. I don’t usually pay attention to animation, so long as the show doesn’t have horrible crap animation that makes me not able to watch it, I don’t care. However this animation did have some very special parts of it that really caught my eye. It kept switching scenes to some just completely different shots like a silhouette filled in with the sky where the person was, and shots that showed the one character multiple times in different shadings of black and color. It was kind of weird but I did really like it.
