Idolmaster Xenoglossia - 22

The Modenkind iDOL base tries to figure out what the higher ups are doing and planning after the take over and shut down of the base.

Impressions:

I do have to say, admittedly, that I actually watch this episode and am writing the post for it after having already watched and done a write up for the next episode. I saw the next episode for download and grabbed it, not realizing that I missed the listing for this episode, then I watched it and actually didn’t even realize I had missed an episode until later. Now, that either means I’m a complete idiot or this episode was really mostly contained, probably a little of both. Although this episode was exciting and good, I liked it a lot, really in the overall scheme of things from experience it didn’t really change much. Now, admittedly looking back I guess it didn’t make sense that Haruka was at the iDOL base and all when the previous episode left off with her still being depressed, and that after the threat of them being shut down they kept on going like it was nothing. Those are things I probably should have picked up on, so this episode did have some good points but I guess from seeing the next episode and not realizing I skipped one it does show this episode was self continued a lot as well.

Even though this episode may have been rather contained in the sense that the take over began and was over all within this episode, it was still really fun to watch. It was a great episode and I really liked seeing them take back the base from very thing, I thought that was done very well and was kind of funny, yet also had those moments that made you cheer for them as they kicked ass. Of course, it was an important part that Haruka came back to normal as well, although it’s not like there was too terribly much that really triggered it, Iori’s nudging perhaps but really it just seemed like it was time.

I really love this show, although many people get put off because of the genre of the game. I have to admit there were a bit of out of place humor like captain’s fighting scene ^^;. I have to agree that this episode was enjpyable, especailly watching them take back the base and even though not much really happened it was good.
