Nanoha StrikerS - 20

Section Six launches an attack against Jail and his Combat Cyborgs in response to his launching of the Saint ship that has the power for massive destruction, which uses Vivio as a power source.

Impressions:

I’m getting really excited for the coming up battle. This episode, of course, was just another set up episode, more or less the third in a row, however I don’t really care anymore. The next episode is pretty much the start of the big fight which will lat the rest of the series, so even though this episode was nothing more then a set up episode in a way, it really made me so excited or the upcoming battle that I don’t care it’s a set up episode. Things will be really interesting and I’m really looking forward to the next episodes just because of how pumped I am kind of to see how the battle will go down.

Vivio’s origin was fairly interesting. Of course, they had always been calling her the vessel of the saints and really just her appearance in the show means that she has to be special and different somehow. Still, the fact that she is in a way some last remaining member of some Saints and is likely ungodly powerful is pretty interesting. I don’t think that will really translate into her kicking ass and fighting or anything, I’m not really sure I’d want that, in fact it would kind of ruin things. Still, them actually explaining her origins were good.

The emergence of the Number II combat cyborg was good, as it’s a step forward I guess. I hadn’t really paid much attention to the numbers of the cyborgs or how many there were, but in the sequence that breaks the show in half they did show the androids all holding their numbers, missing number two, so that of course means that the woman they showed who turned out to be a cyborg is Number II, and of course is the person who seduced the monk guy or whatever in order to get the genetic material to make Vivio in the first place. I’m still wondering what number, if any, Subaru is. They said Ginga is number XIII and that’s filling in all numbers up to that point. However, does that mean Subaru is XIV or is she in another class, like the original run, which it almost sounded like. However if that’s the case, why isn’t Ginga in the same line of Subaru. So things are still a bit complicated there.

I think Ginga is the most recent of the Jail’s cyborgs, therefore giving her the number 13. But she is still a Type Zero along with Subaru. So I think her real number should be 0-1. But it won’t make sense.

The episode was enjoyable. Too bad I still don’t know Due’s IS.

    Ths ship looks cool though.
