Sumomo and Haru feel a bit awkward around each other, not knowing what to do now that they have started going out so their friends try and push them to go out on a date.
Impressions:
This episode was really fun to watch. It really seems as if the series, this episode at least, is focused heavily the romance and the relationship of Sumomo and Haru. I love that because I’m a big fan of romance, not that I don’t like the magic bits though. Still they had some of that in there too and it was great seeing how her good mood kind of made her exceptional. I think they have really found a great mix of romance and magical scenes. Since they have such a great connection of their relationship I think that it will end up effecting the story and magic bits later on, perhaps next episode or so. If they hadn’t set up the romance like they’ve done right now then the events to come would likely not be anywhere near as interesting. Still, the episodes so far that have focused on the more normal things like the relationship have been amazing and I think will make the rest of the show even better.
I was pretty surprised about the end narrative that Haru gave about how sad things were to come. Most anime, and this one until now, just show omens of bad things to come either by showing an ominous scene at the end or in the preview. Now, while the preview did show that some even may happen, perhaps involving Haru’s secret, it still wasn’t necessary indicating it would be sad, and if weren’t for the narrative I Wouldn’t think much about it. Now the narrative has me wondering about what’s to come more then I would have, so I’m really rather interested in what’s to come now. It seems as if it involves Haru’s secret of being the ram. I always wanted to see some kind of episode that dealt with someone figuring his secret out. Although if someone found out it meant he was to stay that way I still wanted it to happen because it would be interesting if they got around that rule and how or if now what would happen so hopefully that will come soon.
