Albion makes an attack against the Magic Academy, sending a brute mage specializing in fire to attack and destroy the entire area.
Wow, this episode was great. I wasn’t quite expecting for there to be much of something exciting like this, but I’m glad there was. I still really liked the episode that had the huge advancement between Louise and Saito romance and relationship wise, but they really do seem to be moving rather fast with all the action and it’s great I think. I was fairly excited and interested watching just from wanting to know what was going to happen and how things were going to turn out. Overall I’ve been rather impressed with the amount of things they are doing. A lot of this is help from this being a second season and them not needing to set up the characters, but really things have been pretty great I think. Aside from the action and everything I still loved some of the comedy bits too. I thought it was just perfect when Louise was trying to remember the spell for unlocking doors but she kind of stopped for a moment and said whatever, just blowing the door open. Still, the show seems to focus a lot of some of the plot and action sequences, which is really working out well I think.
What also made this episode even more interesting was just that it had a cliffhanger. They haven’t really done that too much but with an episode as exciting and interesting as this one was, a continuation of it will be even better and I’m definitely looking forward to it. I’m just wondering how much of this will connect to the overall war. They do seem to be mixing a lot of the Anies story with the war against Albion, so it’s making both of them pretty interesting. I’m not sure if there will be anymore more then Saito attacking and some fight with the big guy from whomever, but hat alone is enough to make me look forward to the next episode.
