The girls all visit Konata at her work in a cosplay café where they find more then they expected.

Impressions:

OMFG I have to talk about one part of the episode by itself it was that good and hilarious. The whole bit about the Haruhi café where Konata works was just freaking amazing. I was laughing throughout the whole thing, start to finish. I didn’t just laugh a couple of times throughout it and thought the rest was funny, I wasn’t just smiling and kind of chuckling, I was really just full blown laughing throughout the whole thing. It was just so freaking perfect, I just can’t describe it any other way. The way Konata was Haruhi, given her seiyuu, and how although he same seiyuu the way she changed her voice to make that of Haruhi’s character was just perfect. Yuki and Kyon both seemed had same seiyuu which just made their inclusion in the whole bit, and everything else really, perfect. The whole song bit and then the character dressed as Mikuru saying how it was classified information. Wow, I’m just really repeating that segment but it was truly one of the funniest things I’ve seen in this series so far.

Aside from the Haruhi bit, the episode was still really great. They really seemed to include the side characters in this episode, which is exactly what I said I think the show could use. They had a small bit that included Yu and her classmate, and then they had a bit that dealt with Kagami and her two classmates that aren’t normal characters either. I think just having those quick bits was rather good because if they lean too heavily on just he main characters things will wear out too quickly.

Lucky Channel was pretty different this episode. I’m glad they did that though, because last episode they did end it with saying how they were going to put on a “concert” for Akira. Although they didn’t really, and I didn’t really expect them to in the sense that she might want, they still continued on with that little bit. I thought it was pretty funny but also it was really neat to hear the singing. The ED kind of followed that as well with the singing. Although, not really different in the sense it was just some live action shot of someone singing, at least it wasn’t Shiraishi this time so really, the way it fit in with Lucky Channel and just how it was different made it really interesting.
