The whole island gets worried when all of a sudden it seems as if a burglar is targeting the people on the island.

Impressions:

This episode was ok. It wasn’t the best, which is odd because they had the introduction of a new character. I think that part of the reason why some of the quality may be dropping is just because the show doesn’t really have as much of the charm that it used to. The show is really just focused on comedy. They don’t try and hide that it’s a harem, but by doing that they are able to pull a lot of comedic situations from that. Usually, they are pretty funny. Not only is it good comedy but it’s just nice to watch sometimes. However, without really any development at all towards anything else, that’s all the show is riding on and it’s getting a little tiring. This was a good episode, but since it didn’t really offer anything new in terms of relationships or any hints to the overall question of whether or not Ikuto will stay here makes it drop in quality a bit. I just hope that they will add in some of those qualities that will make it more entertaining. It’s ok to have a focus on comedy and the harem, but if they add in some other things I think they can keep it going for much longer.

The new character does prove to be rather interesting. This episode was really good just because of her appearance. I just really hope they take this opportunity and pull a lot of comedy from her appearance. After all, new characters generally make things interesting. My only concern though is that they are kind of overloading the show with different characters. While multiple characters allow for a lot of different situations and reactions to one another, having too many can really make each of them less and less important. Mei has a good enough hook though and I hope they really capitalize on it. After all, unlike all the other girls, she’s not a native to the island. Hopefully she’ll be able to connect with Ikuto differently which will lead to some interesting situations.
