Impressions:

I loved the whole bit with Konata’s teacher playing the game, making her only haven not safe any more, even thought the teacher pretty much said she used to slack off and do exactly what Konata is doing. I found the blood type thing to be funny, but they did seem to go on a bit long for it, not stopping at blood types but pretty much making the same joke with the horoscope too. Kagami and Tsukasa not recognizing Konata without her hair antenna was pretty funny too. I also loved the eye drops bit with Miyuki. It’s nothing new that they’ve mentioned her fear of putting things in her eyes, but they’ve never really made a big deal of it, so I think that helps a bit when they do a joke with it. Konata having to hold down her head and hold her eye open was great, although she said that it was Konata’s face that was scaring her the most, not the eye drops, which made it even better. Asides from that, this episode wasn’t’ that too terribly special, it was a bit more dull then some others but still had some great points.

I know I always mention Lucky Channel separately here, because it is something a bit different from the regular show and still worth mentioning, but I just have to mention one thing they said in this episodes that had me laughing so hard, I was almost dizzy. When they were doing the character introduction of Tsukasa, and Akira mentioned To Heart I just lost it. I had noticed before that Tsukasa looks nearly identical to a To Heart character, but didn’t really think much of it. However when they actually said something in Lucky Channel about it, I just found it hilarious. It’s not really so funny just that they look alike, but the fact that in the show they say that which is what makes it truly funny. It may be just me, but I found that incredibly hilarious. The Lucky Channels do seem to be getting a bit longer, which is both good and bad. While Lucky Channel is funny, it could be trimmed down a bit for time that may be better used for the main series bit, but they shouldn’t take it out altogether, just maybe trim it a bit.
