Makoto and Haruka are sent out on an emergency drop, and when out there things tart to go wrong due to intervention by an unknown enemy.

Impressions:

Wow, this episode was so much better then the previous ones, and I would easily say the best so far. Not only was it just interesting because of the amount of action. Instead of just attacking pieces of rocks there was an actual mecha fight, no matter how one sided it was. Not just that, but the drama of the crisis was there, things started to not go very smoothly, and the enemy organization finally made a move. Although they are still shrouded in mystery, at least they intervened and made an impact on the plot. I’m sure the next episode will be pretty damn good too, just because it’s the conclusion or continuation of the drama and conflict in this episode. I just hope the plot continues to be as fast paced and interesting as this is now.

I’m the most curious right now about what the hell is up with that one blonde haired loli girl. It seems as if she isn’t human, which wasn’t apparent when they first showed her. Her actions seemed to directly relate to the hacking, like she was doing it by thinking it not by using some computer terminal. When she jumped out of the bath it caused for everything to be restored, so it’s obvious she’s supernatural, but I’m still really unsure as to what she is. Hell, even the whole organization that is against them all is rather iffy. The whole Mother thing and then they seem to have a history with the good guys; it’s still rather up in the air.

Makoto still seems to come off as a rather bitchy character, especially in this episode when they were talking about the frame replacement. However, what she said to Haruka really made me think that her character is more complex then letting on, and that she isn’t a bad person. She seemed so adamant about not thinking a certain way; because if you do you will make a mistake you can never forgive. I think it’s a safe bet to say that Makoto made such a mistake before, and that could be why she is particularly cold. Something she did that was her fault that caused a lot of innocent people to die probably, which is why she’s not only shut off, but is being harsh in trying to avoid other people making the same mistake.
