It’s finally school festival time and Manabi and crew can only sit back to see how things unfold, and if they’ve made a difference.

Impressions:
This episode was wonderful. It was exactly what I hoped the festival episode would be. Although there were a lot of actually showing what was at the festival, the whole episode wasn’t’ just the four girls going around to the different booths. It was really about what the festival meant now that it was here. There was a really nice balance between showing the important stuff like that and then just showing the regular festival and people having fun. I thought that the song at the end was done beautifully by Manabi. The first part and then the one with the more rock’ish music were both great and really fit the theme of everything nicely. It was a funny and cute episode but at the same time touching and it really did deal with some of those values that the superintendent was talking about. Howe the school festival is only important if it does more then provide fun, and I really think that she saw that it did. The whole what world do you view thing at the beginning really fit all this nicely, and kind of addressed the more deeper feelings the show portrayed with Manabi’s attitude towards everything
The next episode makes me really nervous. For a show that doesn’t really have that much of a plot, no life threatening event or world crisis or anything like that, this show has made me surprising concerned about what is going to happen next. Not just the kind that you get from liking a show and wanting to see more of it. The while situation about merging the schools or not has really got me excited to find out what ill happen. The show has had a few character development episodes, and then the plot of the school merger, but that snot what the show really centers on. Yet still, I really really want for the schools not to merge and for things to work out. The preview made me even more nervous, as it said Memory in the little box and had some recap scenes, so hopefully the entire episode isn’t like that. I just really hope the schools don’t merge, because not only would that be against what I want and feel, I do think that it would be a rather bad ending for the show considering that a lot of what they’ve shown has been about promoting the school. I feel attached to Seioh and a lot of what the show was showing is that Manabi got others to feel that way. Merging the schools and trashing Seioh is very very anti climatic.
