Suzu tries to find her rival after Machi offers to pay her sweets to catch her, and then Suzu is scared that she is cursed after breaking a statue.

Impressions:

Wow, this episode’s split episode was quite surprising, and I didn’t even begin to guess that they were going to do something like this. Even so, I really liked it and the way it turned out. I don’t know if they are going to do this for every episode now, or just every once and a while, but I didn’t really see a big problem with it. Although it reduces it into two short stories, it really eliminates any feeling of being dragged out that a full episode may have. The last episode seemed a little bit dragged out to me, not that much, but the focus wasn’t really big enough. If the show is going to continue the relative lack of plot or character relationships, I think the two half episode thing will really make things more interesting. Not saying that I wouldn’t like for a relationship to actually being, but I think this show is already too focuses on just the funny humors stuff that comes with Ikuto being the only guy on the island. That’s what the show is about and if they completely focus the show on a real relationship, it won’t do well. So, keep up with the split episodes every now and then Not saying a full done isn’t good too, but I like that they mixed this into everything.

I really liked Machi’s character and personality. I had always had in her in my mind as a favorite character ever since I first saw her, she was pretty funny and interesting to watch, but couldn’t really say much since she was never in the show more and even when she was briefly in it she made a good enough impression on me. Although she was only briefly in one of the half episodes, I still really like her and hope for more inclusion. She seems to be the one who has been left out the most, which is too bad because I think she’s great. I wouldn’t have guessed she was 18 but that’s not a problem for me at all. A lot of the first episode half was great, but that could be because as I finished explaining, I’m a Machi fan but more then just her made the episode pretty fun. The second half wasn’t as great, but not bad or anything, but I preferred the first.
