Haruka leans more about the iDOLS and starts practicing in an iDOL simulation while others try and find out how to start up Imber again.

Impressions:
This episode was ok, not the best. The show still has yet to really put any hint at something bigger happening, which it needs to if its going to be an interesting show. Right now, it’s more or less just dealing with asteroids. The whole Imber choosing and only working with Haruka is interesting, but not really enough it seems to draw people into the story, at least not me. They need to explore or put more emphasis on how it’s a bit odd that these machines have minds. They need to work on that, and what this other organization is. Then it will have some depth to it that will make things interesting, because right now dealing with asteroids and meteors isn’t that great. I’m not really downgrading the show too much on that, its only the beginning, but they need to start getting out of it soon or at least put more hints of bigger stuff happening. As far as who they need to advance, I think Haruka’s fine. So far, and since she’s the main character, I don’t really think she needs much more advancement, but the other girls have almost none. Hell, Yayoi seems to have more character personality showing then the others, and she’s not, at least not to my knowledge, an IDOL so she can’t be all too important to the story.
Although, as far as actual plot development, like I said you can’t really be that hard on it for it only being on its third episode. However, there are some other places that this show is lacking that hopefully they will pick up a bit more. For one, the characters seem to be pretty undeveloped. That’s something that’s usually introduced right away in the show is more of the character personality. There is a small hint as to what they are like, but I think, as much as the show needs some plot advancement, there would be an episode that just shows Haruka at the dorms with the other two girls and then the Shiori-look-a-like girl. Generally episodes that are just people hanging out and talking are great for find out what the characters are like, and although that’s not always the best thing or what a show always needs, I think it would help out this show if they would do something like that rather soon otherwise the characters will get left too under developed and we wont care what happens to someone.
