Allen and Lenalee are assigned to find General Cross in order to protect him from the Earl so on the way Allen tells Lenalee of his time with him.

Impressions:
Although this episode really didn’t’ have any fighting or much plot advancement, in fact for most of the entire episode Allen and Lenalee were just talking, it was still a pretty good episode as the huge amount of information they gave on Allen was very interesting. We didn’t really see much of what he actually did with Cross, just the bit leading up to the Mana incident and then him being sent to the Order. It was interesting that he had yet another tragedy such as the one they showed with him having to kill his friend. I didn’t quite think about him having another even like that in his life, I thought the Mana one was big enough but it was still interesting to see. Although even from all the talk of how cold hearted Cross seems to be, he does seem like a very fun character and I cant’ wait until they actually get to him and show him. I hope he doesn’t die though, but he probably will. It will end up pissing off Allen a bunch. As for Cross’s weapon, if I had to guess I’d say it’s his face. He has that whole phantom of the opera mask thing going on, and when he saved Allen from that swarm of Akuma all we saw was a bright light so I’m guessing he took of the mask or something and it did something. Kind of like that ugly guy on Farscape.
The other point of interest is that they did talk about that Innocence Heart, that a powerful exorcist has it. Hmm, I wonder who that could be the main character? My first guess is that Allen has it, kind of predictable and all. However I’d be very pleasantly surprised if it turns out someone else has it. Even if they give it to him somehow after they die, but I don’t’ really see that happening. Since Allen is the main character he’ll probably end up having it but I’d prefer they give it to someone else to make things more interesting, I just don’t’ know how that would work out if they did it though.
The next episode seems interesting, but I doubt it will be a super high quality one. It’s about Crowly, which I’m kind of happy about. It’s not really so much that I like Crowley’s character, he’s not on the top of my list or anything, but I think it’s really good for them to be dealing with him, since he was made into an exorcist during the show. I just wish they’d show what the hell happened with Miranda. Both she and Crowly were arcs in the story and both were basically discovered and became exorcists, yet we haven’t so much as seen Miranda since but they are including Crowly. Just from the looks of it and that frog Akuma, its not going to be super good or anything, but at least if they have to have a fluff episode they focus on a rather undeveloped character instead of doing a stupid Komourin thing. I had just hoped that all of these kind of fluff episodes would be done with after this announcement of the Earl.
