Mamoru asks Emel to help him out with his Beatrice powers so he has a present to give to Ayako for Christmas, while Ayako gets worried now that Mamoru isn’t spending as much time with her.

Impressions:

This episode was just great. It not only had some very funny interaction between Emel who for a new character who has already had her introduction episodes was very surprising and nice. It was funny and just interesting to see her motivation and the things she did. Her innocence in not know what things were and trying to seduce Mamoru was funny to watch and by itself would have made a good episode just because it had some character development of her and why she was after Mamoru. But then, along with that there was a huge start of possible drama. Not even possible, it’s shown that something will happen since Ayako saw the two of them together when Mamoru liked about who he was with. Although Mamoru didn’t do it for any wrong reasons, I’m sure there has to be something before Ayako finds out the truth. I wasn’t quite expecting Emel to cause any drama between the two of them at all; I thought she would just be a funny character to have around and maybe eventually help with the plot involving her brother. I’m really anxious to see what will happen now. I could just see Ayako finding out about it near the end as she saw that he wasn’t with who he said he was. I had to keep pausing it because I was freaked out and anxious about how the encounter where she found out was going to happen.

Even with all of that happening that seemed to not help bring Mamoru and Ayako closer together, I think it inevitably will. The whole Christmas thing coming up is likely to be a huge relationship advancer, and since they have as of now had hardly any real advancement, I think that they will show at least a little to come, once they get over the drama. With still half of the series left, so this big drama won’t be there too long. It’s about time they had this, because like I said they really did have almost no advancement. They decided to go out and that’s pretty much it. They haven’t been shown on any real dates, they haven’t kissed, all they do is show Ayako continually getting embarrassed. Which is good, very cute and makes the show what it is, but I’ll be glad when this drama is resolved and the Christmas setting hopefully brings them much closer together.
