On the way back fro the ski trip everyone stops by at a hot springs where they take part in a game that the president and Shione have played for years, trying to give the girls shampoo directly when they are in the hot springs.

Impressions:
This episode was hilarious. At first I had just expected a regular onsen episode. The onsen episode seems to be a staple episode for many shows like this, any that deal with romances be it harem or slightly different like this always have an onsen episode. However this was extremely different. I thought it was absolutely hilarious. It wasn’t really an onsen episode at all, at least not like the other shows. I loved how they treated the whole goal of getting the shampoo like it was a life threatening mission. During all the “death” scenes, although obvious they weren’t really dead I was constantly overjoyed. I thought it was really cool and they executed it well. The episode dint’ really have that much other then just the entertainment of the quest to get them the shampoo, no real character development or relationship advancement, but for a fluff episode this was so entertaining that it was still great.
The one thing I am a little bit disappointed in so far is the lack of advancement between Mamoru and Ayako’s relationship. Sure the last episode helped a bit where Ayako said she didn’t care if she was weak, that she would be with Mamoru, but we haven’t really seen any time when the two of them where just together. They haven’t even kissed yet, which seems a bit surprising because it’s not a matter of figuring out who will be with. Usually in some other romance series where it’s a harem, they won’t kiss until the end, signifying who the guy picks or whatnot. It’s not even a matter of that though, as Mamoru and Ayako are pretty much going to end up together. Their first kiss will most probably be on a beach during a sunset like they’ve mentioned, K just really want to see that happen. That and/or just a normal date. It’s likely something that would happen after a date, I just want some more advancement of the actual relationship, moving forward and such.
I’m still a bit interested in the little girl. They had her again in this episode even though her part had seemingly been over. I wasn’t quite expecting her until they dealt with her brother as a major arc, but her appearance in this episode and just the way she did small things makes me wonder if she is going to be in the entire series frequently, little by little until her big part. I think it would be cool to see her eventually turn out to be a good guy and work with everyone, perhaps join the student council or whatever but that’s not likely to happen until her brothers arc is finished, which seems major enough I don’t know if there would be room for that. Either way I think she is going to appear more and more, I just kind of hope we see her in a little bit bigger capacity.
urghh i hope this doesn’t turn out to be like Oh My Goddess where there is never any development between the characters
