Kuu deals with the shock of learning that she is an absolute angel after being kidnapped by Kaon, per Mika’s orders.

Impressions:
Wow, this episode was a bit of a shocker. Not so much because of the content, they had already left us with the news that Kuu was an absolute angel. The thing that I’ve rally gotten to realize about this show that this episode excellently showed was how much it had changed. Originally this shows only and main charm was the fact that it was just so odd. There were so many random moments and the things that the characters did were so random and odd, it just made the show interesting. However, now I think it’s gotten rather interesting. Not just because of the concept of the absolute angels, but the relationships behind them. The bother and sister relationship that Kyoshiro has with the other people looking after the angels, the existing relationship that Setsuna and Kyoshiro have, as well as Kuu being brought into the picture. It really ahs turned from a mindless and bizarre entrainment to an exciting and interesting one.
The whole fusing of angels together thing really had me thinking. It seemed like what Kaon was about to do was a bit only because of the resources Mika had. However if fusing and absorbing of two angels could be a common and normal thing, it could add a whole new angel to this show. Wit five angels, each one apparently representing an extremity except Kuu who’s unknown, it wouldn’t be too far off that they could some how combine. I think that ultimately something like that could happen, which not only makes things interesting because of whatever fights would have to be lost to be absorbed, or what they would need to fuse together for, it would make it so all these enemies were connected more. Instead of all just being powerful, they would have a reason for needing or wanting to seek after each other.
I still felt so damn sorry for Setsuna. They didn’t even show her being treated badly very much in this episode either. Aside from having trouble with the fight there was only the moment at the end, but it was enough to make me just feel so sorry for her. She was hurting and crying, pretty pathetic asking Kyoshiro for help and he basically told her to shut up. Not only that but the situation she’s in means she is destined to be killed by the only person she’s spent time with. I just really hope they give her some good development and end. She seems like such a sad character, I really feel sorry for her and it would be a shame if she didn’t get some more screen time and focus.
Kaon’s story is still one of the most interesting ones there is I think. So far it’s almost better then the main story. Until recently however, where the story has gotten a bit more exciting. Kaon’s story is still interesting, as its not just about her being an angel but the relationship she has with Himeko and Mika trying to control her. It makes things even more interesting that even though she was brainwashed and made super powerful, she isn’t completely isolated to Mika. She may followed her orders but it seems like Himeko is still a big influence on her, I think it will make it even more interesting when they settle things because I really think Kaon is a cool and interesting character, without the brainwash thing she didn’t seem to be evil either.
