Flashback episode showing how Lucia met Sumire and they both discovered the power she has when shot with anti virus solution.

Impressions:

Although some others have started to express a dislike for this show thus far, I’m still finding it rather interesting. Sure it’s not groundbreaking, but it’s still interesting enough in its own right to watch I think. I really liked the flashback episode. Not only did it do a good job of showing the background and history which all flashback episodes do, it really showed a great amount of character development in the sense we saw what they used to be. Sumire kind of breaking down because of having this ability was interesting, s it would defiantly change one’s life. I’m really glad in that respect that they gave her a hard time in accepting the powers. Although they’ve always shown she is a bit weak and clumsy, I think it fits nicely with freaking out because of now all of a sudden seeing monsters and turning into a freak and so on.

I’m still a bit surprised and confused about the broach. It seemed like al of her powers came from whatever that broach did. Not only the ability to see viruses was granted by it, which may have been more understandable because it used to belong or still did belong to Lucia and such, but the powers coming from it too? That was surprising and I really hope they explain why she gained the powers to go all anti virus berserker because of it. Although it showed the history of how she got her powers and how Lucia met her, it didn’t’ really explain it which would be really nice because right now, although interesting, it’s still a bit…odd. I’m also really curious who Lilith is. They talked in the shop about how Sumire reminds them of Lilith or something, apparently she was someone who sued to work there maybe. Anyways, just mentioning her was enough to make it interesting. She doesn’t seem to be evil or anything, but someone they used to work with or something.
