Kuu is taken by Kyoshiro to head out for the Joto Academy, trying to find a way to get there safely without being attacked by the cat-girl Absolute Angel.
Wow, this show just keeps getting better and better, but not necessarily in a conventional way. This show is just so interesting and enjoyable to watch because you don’t know what the hell is going to happen. They’ve made it so you don’t even have to understand what’s going on for it to be rather funny and at least interesting to watch. This in many places is unintentionally funny. Its not comedy, at least not the bits that are funny yet there are some things that are just hysterical. I just love how Kuu is like writing to the prince about EVERYTHING. “I’m taking another bath!†Its not even huge important events all the time, the beginning of the show kind of is as it summaries last episode, but during the episode the stuff she tells him is jut, odd. Despite it having that appeal however I do rather enjoy in on some other fronts and it will definitely a memorable anime.
One thing that I really like about this show so far is that it isn’t clearly defined who is good and bad. Of course the cat girl and her partner seem to be evil, however Kaon was beaten and tortured it seemed, so whoever she is working for seems to be evil, so we have three sides, two evil ones that don’t seem to be working together, yet Kaon herself doesn’t seem evil so in those factions there are differing opinions and believes it seems. I just like that there isn’t a good and bad side, but just having more then two makes things so much more interesting.
One thing that they said in this episode that I found very interesting was that the prince, the prince from Kuu’s past and dreams that she is writing all of these detailed letters to seems to be Kyoshiro’s brother. He mentioned several times his brother in this episode, plus it showed the prince with long hair and then Kyoshiro as he was young trying to reach for him. It would make sense for Kyoshiro to indeed NOT be the prince from Kuu’s dream because unless she never actually did meet him in person and has the power to now hat someone will look like when they grow up, it wouldn’t fit unless Kyoshiro was ageless which would make it a bit less interesting because he wouldn’t be human.
